| An Orthodox vertep at the Cathedral of the Ascension of Christ |
I took the photo of a vertep yesterday at the Church of Ascension of Christ in 36, Bolshaya Nikitskaya St. It is a beautiful church in Classicist style built in two stages, in 1798-1816 and in 1827-1848. Alexander Pushkin was baptised there.
