It’s been nearly two years that I have had a soft spot for Paul Arden. An advertiser but also an amazingly clever man with a great sense of humour, he was able to convey his ideas on some very complex subjects (say, self-improvement) in a very simple way. One book that seemed to elude me was God Explained in a Taxi Ride… but not any more. It’s a small book that was typed into a PowerPoint presentation and posted to SlideShare. I have already read it, it took me just one hour. What I am beginning to love is that I have arrived at the same points of view as Erich Fromm concerning love, and Paul Arden concerning God. And that gives me a lot of faith.
